I’ve lost all my design files and drafts suddenly, but I can still see the file names. When I click to open them, I get an error. What could be the reason? Does anyone know how I can restore all the files?

Welcome to the community and sorry to hear that!
Can you check the “Deleted” section of your “Drafts to Move” folder?
Give that a try and let me know how it goes. If you still cannot locate the file there, and you didn’t delete permanently, you should be able to recover it. (The good news is that we don’t permanently delete files from Figma unless you manually click “delete forever” or if you delete the team or project that the file was in.)
You will be able to restore the file by opening your Drafts then opening the Deleted tab. Right click on the file and click Restore. The file will then be restored to the project it originally resided in.
To see all available files that can be restored, please make sure that you also set the “Created by” filter to “anyone” rather than “you.” You, and anyone else who had access to edit that file should be able to find it and restore it this way.

Let me know if you are still having trouble finding the file under the deleted tab. The “Created by” filter might be extra helpful here.

Thank you very much for your response and help. Yes, I checked, but the files are not even in the deleted folder. Could they have been deleted because I have a basic plan? If I upgrade the plan, do you think the files will be restored?

Absolutely I’ve been using Figma for almost 4 years and this is the first time this has happened

The files I deleted were in the screenshot I shared; other deleted files were deleted automatically. I downloaded design files from the Figma community but they were also deleted without my permission.
