A bit meta, but it would be nice to be able to insert Figma content onto the canvas from the Assets panel.
Imagine a section under Assets called “Figma content” and under it you drag and drop Figma-native, Figma-owned components onto the canvas like “Member avatar” or “Member first name” with variant toggles. Maybe within text fields, you could insert special characters/keywords that would be replaced with actual Figma data like $version-description, $last-updated-date, etc., similar to how the current Links feature works.
Other Figma-native component ideas: Table of Contents (list of pages that have content), file links with thumbnails, library component counts… any others? (I’m obviously inspired by Atlassian Confluence’s Insert feature…)
