Copy item from Figma. Edit and delete all text. Re-add text. Weird behavior

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Copy a component (say, a Button or a Chip) from Material 3 Design Kit (Community) to a new FigJam file.
  2. Select and delete all text.
  3. Without pressing Esc or making the blinking cursor disappear, attempt to re-type text.
    Outcome: Font has changed from bold to regular.
  4. Press Esc, click the would-be textbox location to make the blinking cursor re-appear, attempt to re-type text.
    Outcome: Despite the blinking icon being there, no text can be typed.
