Hello! I am working on a shared parts kit for use on multiple projects. One of the challenges I am trying to account for is a visual documentation of spacers/padding for each component in the kit.
I’m also trying to use nested base components to try to reduce the friction of making a ton of updates to components each time a new designer uses this kit.
However, I think I am breaking something when I toggle between the spacers on/off states of my base component. For some reason the color overrides stop deriving their specified color if I toggle the spacers on and then off. (It’s easier to see this happen in the video I posted)
I’m happy to try and provide some extra detail, but I have a feeling it has something to do with the spacers being a thing…
I’m open to suggestions though! Thanks so much in advance!
