Cant delete text on a title, it becomes grey on the background

When i delete text in a title, the deleted text stays in the bar, but in a sort of grey version. When i type something different in the bar, it overlays the grey text but it becomes very unreadable?

In the image you can see ‘Jeroen van Alenbeek’ but ‘alenbeek’ has been deleted, but somehow just stays there in a grey version?
