Normally on hover, the pink horizontal lines appear which we can drag to adjust the even distribution of evenly spaced vertically stacked items which are all currently selected. But if you narrow the width to <~105px, the pink lines don’t appear! 
This could be bad if we have something thin like icons which we need in a vertical menu and want to adjust the vertical spacing.
Found a little work around: zoom in and they appear
