Can viewers leave comments?

Hi guys, I have a question about added viewers, that I couldn’t find when I did my research.

  • Can viewers leave comments? Or do they have to be added in as editors in order to do so?

  • How many viewers can I add to a professional account?

Sorry if this has been addressed before I couldn’t find any info on that.

Anyone with at least can view to a file can use comments.

You can invite up to 500 collaborators to your files (of which 200 can be editors).

I had the same question. It’s amazing this is not clearer in Figma’s UI. There’s 0 indication that a viewer can also comment. Doesn’t work that way in Drive for example.

Important note: Viewers need to have a (free) Figma account to be able to leave comments.
