At work, I often share Figma links to communicate with clients or partner companies. However, even after we’ve ended the collaboration, they can still access our designs through the link, which is really annoying. Another issue is that although the link can be set to read-only mode, this only applies to the web. If the person has a Figma account, they can still copy the content from the link and paste it into their own project!! This means our designs could potentially be stolen
You can create a new file, copy the frames there and give a link to your client. You can delete this temporary file later.
Or you can share the file with invite only access and delete the client from the file later, so he won’t be able to open it anymore.
If you have a paid plan, you can restrict copying, sharing, and exporting from a file, so no one can stole it.
