To select a deeply nested element, I don’t want to have to double click a bunch of times, nor do I want to command click and then navigate back up the hierarchy.
My solution would be to select the parent frame on first click. Then on second click, select whatever child element my cursor is on. If it’s a component, select the component itself instead of some constituent element of the component.
Thanks, I am aware of command clicking as I noted in my post, but both navigating up and down the hierarchy can be tedious. There are heuristics Figma could use to make selecting objects more efficient.
