2 independent carousels in 1 screen

Hi everyone!

I’m new to Figma and already over my head.

I have a dashboard screen where I want to introduce 2 sections, each containing a carousel.
For the first carousel i have 3 cards (components) and the second carousel has 2 cards (other type of components).
I selected horizontal scrolling but it doesn’t work. In preview I move the entire canvas that is stretched to the last card. All elements move at the same time.

How can i have 2 separate scrolls for specific components (2 carousels) in 1 screen? please help…

Hi David, so it’s possible by adding frames for each carousel. Make sure the elements of the carousel are included in the frame (see layers) and that the frame has horizontal scrolling enabled. You also need to make sure you check the box for clip content. It takes a bit of trial and error, but if you are stuck I recommend Figma’s tutorials on YouTube there’s one specifically for carousels, this is how I got unstuck. Good luck!
