Hi everyone, I’m currently designing a mobile UI/UX for Hypic AI Photo Editor, an app that provides AI-powered editing features like one-tap enhancement, background remover, and creative templates. Since it’s my first time working on a complete photo editor interface, I’d love to get some feedback and suggestions from the community.

For the home screen and navigation, I’m considering highlighting Quick Edit, AI Templates, and Recent Projects upfront, but I’m unsure whether to also display categories like filters, retouch, and tools directly on the main screen or keep them inside a menu for a cleaner layout. Similarly, I’m exploring different editing workspace layouts in Hypic—either placing tools in a bottom navigation bar like Lightroom or using a floating expandable toolbar. Which approach do you think feels more intuitive for mobile users?

Another area I’m focusing on is branding and theme. Right now, I’m leaning toward a dark mode-first interface with bright accent colors (like neon purple or teal) to make AI actions stand out. Do you think this fits well with a modern editing app, or would a lighter minimal look be more user-friendly? Any insights or references would be super helpful.
